I met the Quilting Fairy!

Honest.  Instead of a magic wand, she uses thread snips.  With just two little snips and a tug, she turned this

into this

I had to restitch to secure the cut thread, but it went a lot easier the second time around.

Well, the Dinner Fairy hasn't shown up yet, so I guess I'll have to go cook some food myself  ;)   Happy Quilting!
