Trick or Treat, Smell My Feet...

treat bags

Give me something good to eat...

If you don't, I don't care...

I'll pull down your underwear!

hehehe, are you familiar with this rhyme from childhood?

bags in a row

I taught it to my boys while I made them some new treat bags for Halloween this year.  I offered to buy them something to Trick-or-Treat with, but they wanted me to sew them something - they sure know their way to their Mama's heart :)

I found a video for my favorite Halloween song, hope you like it! :)

Happy Halloween everyone! :)

I felt so bad as all my grandchildren were leaving with plastic grocery bags for trick or treat! I must make them bags next year!!! These are adorable!

I made bags last year (and pulled them out this year - they store so much better than the plastic pumpkins!).

And I was singing this song last night while handing out candy and one kid said "That's a bad word." Guess he got in trouble for singing it. Sheesh!

So cute! And so cute that they wanted handmade bags! I hope my kids ask for handmade things one day!

Here we say "trick or treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat. Not too big, not too small, just the size of Montreal!" Not sure why, but I remember saying it as a kid and now my kids are picking it up at school too.

They are gorgeous T or T bags. I love the fabrics and it is so nice that boys prefer you to make them :)
